DJ Dubois

DJ DuBois started her career on pirate radio in the early 2000s. Starting with a weekly show on House FM under her former name 'Sole Intent', she quickly became a regular on the lineup of House FM's infamous parties all over London. She started out spinning vinyl-only sets on House FM and then went on to play with Push: FM, Bang Radio and the AAJA Live Radio Station in Deptford.

Since those early days, DJ DuBois has gigged across the UK and internationally; her many highlights include the Ministry of Sound alongside Tony Humphries, IPM Rome supporting Black Coffee, a residency at a Colombian Beach Resort and a variety of bookings on her travels through California, Cuba and Mexico.

DJ DuBois has graced the decks multiple times for the legendary Deep Into Soul parties and has played alongside incredible artists like Neil Pierce, Sy Sez, Marica Carr, Spen, Atjazz, Osunlade, Emmaculate, Soulfreakah and many, many more. She is also a regular feature at the vinyl-only Girlz B Like parties hosted by Marcia Carr and has been featured on Radio Cafe 1001's well-known YouTube channel.

Recent highlights of her career include opening the Powerhouse Room and also hosting the Suncebeat Bar for the legendary Southport Weekender 2026 - a sold-out event. DJ DuBois has also played for Forward Motions' sold-out party at Club 338 and the We Turn Tables Weekender festival in Ireland.

DJ DuBois is also a musician and sound therapist, and so her love of music is deeply rooted. She sees the dance floor as a sacred space to be respected and revered! Her sound is deep, soulful and rooted in Afro heritage as a daughter of the diaspora.
