Overview
We Turntables Alicante 2026 wasn't simply another music event.
It was a four-day, five-night celebration of underground house music, bringing together DJs, artists and music lovers from across the UK, Ireland, South Africa and beyond.
Created by Gillman Audio Presents in association with Househead London, the event was designed to be much more than a series of DJ sets. It was about creating an experience where music, friendship and community came together in exceptional venues, supported by carefully planned programming and outstanding sound.
Months of preparation resulted in a weekend that exceeded every expectation.
The Vision
Delivering an event of this scale takes far more than booking artists and installing a sound system.
Every aspect had to work together.

The aim was simple: to create an event people would remember long after the final record had finished.
Bringing the Weekend to Life
Preparation began before guests had even arrived.
The Gillman Audio team travelled to Alicante on Wednesday evening, spending Thursday preparing Club Xarao for the opening pre-party while simultaneously installing the poolside system ready for Friday's official launch.
From the moment the first track played on Thursday evening, the atmosphere was exactly what everyone had hoped for.
Four Days of Music
Each session across the weekend was carefully programmed to create its own identity and musical journey.
Friday began with a relaxed afternoon by the pool before moving into the first club night at Club Xarao.
With performances from Lee Coffey, Abel and Shane Johnson (Fish Go Deep), the opening night immediately set the standard for everything that followed.
Saturday centred around Shangrila Klub, where music flowed seamlessly from daytime sunshine into an unforgettable evening indoors.
Highlights included Nita Funk performing her forthcoming release Rising Light, an emotional moment for both the artist and the audience.
Miggs Harris (The Journeymen) also made a remarkable appearance, travelling despite recent major surgery to support the event with a memorable performance.
As night fell, Ross Purcell and TimAdeep closed another extraordinary day of music.
Sunday delivered another carefully crafted musical journey.
Poolside sessions featuring Iain Willis, A Deeper Groove and Fred Everything gradually built the energy before everyone returned to Club Xarao.
Brother James made his debut at We Turntables before Craig Smith once again demonstrated why he has become such an important supporter of the event.
SoulFreakah brought the evening to a fitting conclusion.
Remarkably, there was still another full day to enjoy.
Monday followed the same successful formula.
A final afternoon around the pool led into one last night at Club Xarao, where TimAdeep, Fred Everything and Neil Pierce brought Alicante 2026 to an unforgettable close.
Even after four days of music, dancing and celebration, the venue remained full until the final record.

The response after the event was overwhelming, with demand for Alicante 2027 proving just how successful the inaugural event had been.
